Volunteers
Community Clubhouse would not be as special if it were not for the many community
volunteers generously donating their time in many ways. We have volunteers contributing
to the Clubhouse who come from a vast array of personal and professional experiences.
They bring new skills and interests to our members, allowing them success in areas
beyond vocation. We are proud to work alongside The Ohio State University Master
Gardener Volunteers of Summit County, Becker’s Herb Farm, Mature Services, and Through
the Roof Ministries. Additional community volunteers assist with other Clubhouse
activities such as: art classes, knitting, exercise, nutrition, and weekly Bible
study. Our volunteers donate their time on a regular basis which also includes participating
in community outings to museums, hiking, shopping, quilting, ceramics, athletic
events, and picnics just to name a few. Conversely, volunteers learn of the resiliency
of people living with brain injury and develop a new found sensitivity of seeing
life from a new perspective.
